Pressure

You know it's funny how you promise yourself that you will not go through a certain path of life, but you end up going through that same road but in a different dimension. It opens your eyes to the challenges, feelings and emotions people go through.

You get to realize the little things in life. You get to experience the trials and disappointments. You also get to learn lessons you thought you'd never face. I can't say I'm enjoying my adult life but I don't regret living it either. It's a wonderful experience. I am actually loving it.

Most times I feel the pressure of being where my age mates are. You get to hear people tell you things like, "you should be busy", "you should be married", "you should own a home", "you should own a car", "you shouldn't be relying on anyone especially your parents for financial aid". Then you hear another set of People say "one step at a time", "hey! Be patient!", "You will get there", "it will all fall into place in due time".

We are not living up to our expectations. We have a plans but there's always an obstruction. Nobody told us this is how life would be while growing up, not even a warning was given to us. But heck! You won't deny that it was all worth it. After all, that's what challenges is all about right? You experience, you learn lessons, you fall, you rise, you keep walking and it keeps going on and on till you get there. That place of comfort.

Someone told me in the middle of pressure,  make every experience and challenges count; because at the end of it all, you will be awed at the things you will see. No pressure.

                 Happy Easter...🐰❤️

                                                            Yours truly....

  2. Most people often are too focused on getting to a place of comfort and not enjoying the ride that leads to it ...i mean everyone goes through difficulties and the real place of comfort is knowing that you're doing your best and there's no time limit in getting there
